LiveWall — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

LiveWall plays your videos as the desktop wallpaper on your Mac. It has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and it never connects to the internet: the App Store version is not even permitted to (it is built without network access). Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere, and the developer receives no data about you at all. This policy describes LiveWall as it is distributed through the Mac App Store.

What the app reads on your Mac

What leaves your Mac

Nothing. LiveWall makes no network requests of any kind: no telemetry, no crash reporting, no update checks, no advertising. The one exception is not LiveWall's: buying or restoring LiveWall Pro goes through the App Store, under Apple's privacy policy, and LiveWall learns only whether Pro is unlocked.

What is stored on your Mac

All of it lives in the app's own folder on your Mac. Deleting the app removes it; nothing is kept anywhere else. Your videos are played where they are — LiveWall does not copy, change or upload them.

Children

LiveWall collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

Changes
